Tuesday, January 24, 2012

Press release from the issuing company

WhatTheyThink, the printing and publishing industry's leading media organization, today announced that it has launched the special coverage area for their extended media coverage of drupa 2012 in partnership with Messe Düsseldorf.  The world's largest printing trade show is scheduled for May 3-16, 2012, in Düsseldorf, Germany and WhatTheyThink will be providing focused coverage from Germany via this special page.

"We are excited about the upcoming drupa event," said Randy Davidson, WhatTheyThink's CEO. "This will be our third drupa, and we will again be providing special coverage from the show floor and publishing timely and relevant news, articles, and videos to ensure our readers have access to the latest drupa news.  For those at the show it is a great way to see a concise overview of what is happening.  For those in North America unable to make the show, it is a valuable resource to see what is happening in Düsseldorf."

The page is located at http://whattheythink.com/events/drupa/ and will also be linked in the main navigation bar for the duration of show coverage.

WhatTheyThink is now offering a limited number of promotional opportunities on this special page.  For more information please contact randy@whattheythink.com or vince@whattheythink.com.

"drupa years are always exciting for the industry and we look forward to many great announcements and advancements for commercial printing," said Davidson. "The show is fast approaching and news about drupa 2012 has been picking up steam for some months now.  Our special coverage page is the best place to get a snapshot of what is happening before, during, and after the show."

WhatTheyThink is well-known for its multichannel approach to covering the printing and publishing industries, including written reports and interviews, videos, and postings to social media including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. The company recently announced publication of its 1,000th online video interview.  Beginning in 2007, WhatTheyThink was the first and only online publisher covering the printing and publishing industries to go daily with online video content.

A recent audit by BPA Worldwide, powered by Nielson Online, confirmed WhatTheyThink's leading position in the printing and publishing industries. "As we continue our double-digit growth in page impressions, session duration and more," added Davidson, "our extended drupa coverage will enhance our industry leadership position and help U.S. exhibitors and visitors better prepare for a productive visit to Düsseldorf in May 2012."
