CEO of Consolidated Graphics Joe Davis talks about the success of their second annual Emerge conference and highlights some of his favorite moments.
Joe Davis: We’re delighted to host this second annual Emerge conference. I’ve been really, really pleased with the quality of the presenters, the keynote speakers, the panelists, people leading the breakout groups. We’ve had a great, great group and it’s mostly about technology.
I just heard from one of our customers who said, this was the best conference she’d ever attended. She works for one of the world’s largest oil field service companies. I guess it is the world’s largest oil field service company. And she has attended a lot of conferences. Not all in the United States, but outside of the United States. And she said that one of the things she really like about this conference was it was not all about CGX, Consolidated Graphics.
So we’re pleased that we’re recognized as holding a real conference that’s focused on technology and the opportunities in the printing industry. Today there’s many, many opportunities and we believe that we are leading a number of fronts in the industry. We certainly believe that we are a technology leader; we have confirmed that we are the world’s largest digital printing capacity leader and we are really looking forward to continue to grow our company and continue to lead in technology.
And I’d like to thank all of our people for all the contribution they’ve made, as well as our guests for the contribution to the Emerge Conference, what I consider a real success.
