Press release from the issuing company

Quarterly magazine launches to empower higher education marketers

Reston, Va. – The Association for PRINT Technologies (APTech), the leading association for print service providers and print manufacturers, announced the launch of its newest publication, EDgage—A Magazine for Higher Education Marketers. The Magazine, which will be published quarterly, will delve into the unique challenges that higher education marketers face as they work to stand out in a highly competitive market where each new student can represent a long-term asset to their school that reaches far beyond the initial engagement as a student. EDgage will highlight the unique solutions and innovations that print can provide to help address those challenges. The first issue launched at the American Marketing Association Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education from November 10-13, 2019 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, NV.

“This new publication supports our mission as an organization to help the print community by creating awareness for print and the value of print to highly competitive vertical markets,” says Thayer Long, President of APTech. “We’re excited about this highly focused periodical to support higher education marketers. It is our goal as an association to deliver solutions that will drive success – and we believe EDgage will do just that.”

In addition to the EDgage quarterly publication, APTech is launching a broader suite of products around this new brand including podcasts, a monthly eNewsletter and eventually regional meetings. EDgage was developed in partnership with Mark Potter and Conduit, Inc., and will be delivered in collaboration between the Association for PRINT Technologies and Conduit, Inc.
