Case Paper Grows Even Moore with New Operations Manager

Press release from the issuing company

High Point, N.C. – Case Paper WinterBell welcomes Steve Moore to the team as our Operations Manager. Since July, Steve has overseen all sheeting, rewinding, and trimming, for our facility in High Point, North Carolina. His favorite band may be the Eagles but he does anything but “Take it Easy” in his new position.

Steve has high ambitions to help Case Paper operations “Take it to the Limit” by having the team run just like a NASCAR pit crew – no wasted time! He’s helping to measure productivity, so they can focus on areas to improve and make the overall process more efficient.

Although Steve is new to the paper industry, it’s no surprise he’s now the “New Kid in Town” as his father worked for the Greensboro News and Record newspaper his whole life. His previous experience includes managing operations in the sheet metal fabrication business, where he specialized in duct work and filtration systems. Case Paper’s Philadelphia facility even uses some equipment he used to make!

“Steve truly embodies Case’s core value of ‘Own It,’” said Richard Lewis, General Manager of Case Paper’s High Point facility. “I’ve had a ‘Peaceful Easy Feeling’ since his first day because he is passionate and takes accountability for anything related to running operations – safety, productivity, logistics, quality control, you name it.”

When Steve is not living “Life in the Fast Lane” at work, he likes to enjoy a glass of wine with his wife, play golf, and cheer on the Atlanta Braves.
