SOL 3D Scanner Customers Get More Free Space on p3d.in

Press release from the issuing company

p3d.in is the Coolest Way to Share 3D Scans

Chantilly, Va. – Scan Dimension®, developer of 3D scanning, imaging, and realization technology, today announces a free storage upgrade for SOL customers. New and existing customers can now host up to 6 GB of assets for free on p3d.in, an online service specifically designed for storing and sharing 3D models. The storage is offered free to customers with the purchase of a SOL 3D scanner. Customers can also upgrade their p3d.in storage further for a nominal fee.

“SOL customers enjoy using p3d.in for all their 3D scanned models, and the additional space will provide more opportunities to store, showcase, or share their models for future use,” comments Chip Coons, Product Manager, Scan Dimension. “No other 3D scanning manufacturer offers this kind of benefit to their customers.”

SOL customers appreciate the many options p3d.in provides for reviewing and sharing their 3D scans. Users can embed a scan in their own website, or they can get a link for emailing or posting a model online. Folders and models stored in p3d.in are protected with encryption. The content can be saved in a public gallery for easy viewing by anyone on the Internet or kept private for customers to share with only select users. Preview a sample here.

The free online storage is an exclusive benefit to SOL customers.

The SOL 3D scanner is quickly gaining recognition as the easiest and most accurate scanner in its class. The scanner has received rave reviews from 3D technology experts, as featured in the following blogs: 3DpProfessor.com and Cairowest.com.
