The Cannata Report’s 34th Annual Awards & Charities Dinner Reaches New Heights

Press release from the issuing company

Event to Honor Business Technology Excellence and Recognize Ray Morgan Company with Humanitarian Award

Hamburg, N.J. – The imaging industry is evolving and on the rise, and The Cannata Report will celebrate its Elevation at our 34th Annual Awards & Charities Dinner on November 7, 2019, at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ. Sponsored by Hytec Dealer Services, PSIGEN Software, and Continuum, the event will raise funds for Tackle Kids Cancer, a philanthropic program benefitting the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health.

“Elevation industry-wide is the key to maintaining relevancy and sustainability. Dealers are taking the industry in new and exciting directions, manufacturers are introducing innovative offerings, and there is tremendous emphasis on diversity and expansion. Despite some challenges, the industry has elevated the playing field, and we look forward to what the future holds for everyone involved in the dealer channel,” said CJ Cannata, president and CEO.

This year, ten Frank Awards will be given, including “Best IT Services,” a new category. Winners of The Frank Awards are determined each year by The Cannata Report’s Annual Dealer Survey sponsored by TIAA Bank.

In addition, The Cannata Report will honor the Ray Morgan Company with a Humanitarian Award for its inspiring efforts and fundraising to assist its employees and the communities devastated by the Camp Fire in Northern California in November of 2018.

The Elevation theme will be celebrated throughout the dinner, the After Party sponsored by NEXERA and Xerox, and at the 4th Annual Women Influencers Brunch sponsored by Ametek ESP, EFI, Kyocera, and Supplies Network on November 8. The Brunch celebrates the leading female executives featured in The Cannata Report’s Women Influencers issue (July/August 2019).

To date, The Cannata Report has raised close to $750,000 for Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation alone and collectively raised $2.5 million for charitable causes nationwide. Business Technology Association’s General Counsel Robert Goldberg will serve as emcee of the event, and Sharp Electronics Corporation will produce the awards portion of the Cannata Dinner.
