Inc. Magazine Recognizes FireSprint as One of America’s Fastest-Growing Trade Printers

Press release from the issuing company

New York, N.Y. –  Since 1982, the Inc. 5000 list has honored the extraordinary journeys of the fastest-growing companies in America. It is the most prestigious honor for growing private businesses. Inc. magazine today revealed that FireSprint is one of the fastest growing Trade-Only Sign Printer on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most distinguished ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“We have grown at an amazing rate since our humble start in 2007”, says Gene Hamzhie, CEO – FireSprint. “Our culture of continuous growth and improvement is truly being recognized by our inclusion on the Inc. 5000 list. Our growth has two pillars: we work with an exclusive group of driven customers, and we invest deeply in our team and the technology we use”, states Hamzhie.

FireSprint started in a basement in 2007. The start was a similar story to most sign shops. Buy a vinyl plotter and start making signs for business around the neighborhood. “We pounded a lot of pavement, and we grew.” says James Hamzhie, Director of Customer Experience - FireSprint.

Not only have the companies on the 2019 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the list as a whole shows staggering growth compared with prior lists. The 2019 Inc. 5000 achieved an astounding three-year average growth of 454 percent, and a median rate of 157 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $237.7 billion in 2018, accounting for 1,216,308 jobs over the past three years.

“We were young, and had no idea what we were doing. It wasn’t until 2010 until we found our calling. We tested the market, and played to our strengths. We decided to become a trade printer early that year”, states Mark Kistler, COO - FireSprint.

“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 have followed so many different paths to success,” says Inc. editor in chief James Ledbetter. “There’s no single course you can follow or investment you can take that will guarantee this kind of spectacular growth. But what they have in common is persistence and seizing opportunities.”

FireSprint was originally founded in 2007 as TargetOmaha Marketing. By the beginning of 2009 FireSprint had over 600 customers that worked with them on a monthly and/or seasonal basis. FireSprint continued its growth and found the need to fulfill an ever-increasing print workflow demand on a variety of materials while maintaining the quality it was known for. Today, FireSprint is a wholesale, trade only sign printer, printing signs and other graphics for the design, advertising, and printing industries. FireSprint is dedicated to be a leader in consistency, focus on helping their clients grow, and building the kind of business we are all proud of.

“One thing you can count on is our passion for what we do,” states Gene Hamzhie. “At FireSprint, we grow people. Our focus concentrates on helping our clients grow, encouraging the growth of our own people, and building the kind of business we, and our customers can all be proud of.” Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.
