Press release from the issuing company

ANN ARBOR, MI (September 13, 2002) -- Arcar Graphics, a division of Flint Ink North America's Packaging Group, is debuting new ARCURE Rotary Screen UV Ink System at Labelexpo Americas 2002, September 13 -- 12. ARCURE Rotary Screen Ink System is a high opacity, silicone-free UV ink system that provides excellent through-cure and eliminates foaming. It is the ideal choice for high-end fragrance, cosmetic and personal care applications requiring rich, vibrant colors. Arcar Graphics is presenting the new UV ink system for narrow web converters in the Flint Ink booth #817. This versatile, high performance ink system is designed specifically for a "Stork"rotary screen head. High-quality graphics can be surface or reverse printed on a wide variety of top coated films and the inks' quick leveling allows for high-speed production. Compatible with UV flexo, UV letterpress and water-based flexo ink systems, ARCURE Rotary Screen UV ink enhances applications requiring multiple printing processes, increases production efficiencies, and minimizes downtime. "ARCURE Rotary Screen UV ink systems' on-press performance and energy curable features enable narrow web converters to eliminate trapping problems and print vibrant, color-rich labels at high speeds,"says Mike Harjung, V.P. and General Manager, Arcar Graphics. The ARCURE UV Rotary Screen Ink System is available in all Pantone colors, including light-fast and ultra light-fast formulations. Arcar Graphics was purchased by Flint Ink in 2000 and specializes in waterbase and energy curable ink systems. The company has eight locations throughout the United States that enable it to provide rapid technical services and fast product delivery.
