College Students Preparing for Flexo Industry Careers

Press release from the issuing company

The Phoenix Challenge Foundation announces the 2019 College Competition – May 4th

Charlotte, N.C. – The Phoenix Challenge Foundation is excited to announce the only annual college flexo competition – the Phoenix Challenge College Competition. A great event that continues to build and breed talent and interest in package and label printing industries. This year’s program will be held May 4, 2019 in Baton Rouge, LA; leading into the FFTA Annual Forum held May 5-8 in New Orleans.

The popular competition brings 50-60 students from colleges across North America and continues to drive the mission of the Phoenix Challenge Foundation: to provide access, support, competition and scholarship for students who are pursuing education and careers in flexography and graphic arts.

These students, though the support of the Foundation, can continue their education and do become productive participants at companies in our industry. From young career entries to long-standing professional leaders, the Phoenix Challenge Foundation has helped develop talent that now works with leading companies including: J. R. Cole Industries, Salem One, MacDermid Graphics Solutions, Quantum Ink Co., Tesa Tape, Anderson & Vreeland, Mark Andy, Inc., We Are Alexander and more.

Support needed! Sponsors are crucial to driving our industry’s future!
