Fairfax, Va. – Renowned graphic designer Aaron Draplin, Owner and Founder of Draplin Design Company, will present two sessions at the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association’s (SGIA) THREADX 2019 conference (San Diego, February 17–19). Draplin is known in the garment decoration and graphic arts industries for the unique designs, logos and ideas that he has illustrated for worldwide brands including Target, Patagonia and Wired.

"Aaron has a unique inspirational perspective. His work is a balance of simplicity and creativity and he brings that balance to his message as well. His presence at THREADX is very exciting for us, as well as for the attendees that get to see him at work," said Sarah Perkins, Director of Community Development, SGIA.

Draplin founded his company in 2004 and his clients include companies like Union Binding Co., Esquire, Nike and Ford Motor Company. Draplin has spoken at over 360 events across the world and, with his company, produced a book titled "Pretty Much Everything."

At THREADX, Draplin is giving two presentations. The first, a hands-on design workshop, takes place Sunday, February 17, for 35 early registrants. On Monday, February 18, Draplin will present "Things that Don't Have a Thing to Do with Graphic Design."

"Aaron's sessions will provide THREADX attendees new insight into graphic decoration and design through his unique eye. You won't want to miss the chance to see first-hand what makes Aaron such an engaging personality in this industry," said Perkins.

Joining Draplin on the list of featured speakers are Brian Adam (Olympus Group), who will give a presentation on how to improve employee engagement, Benny Gold (Benny Gold), who will deliver the closing keynote and emcee riCardo crespo (th13teen).
