Racami and Canon Solutions America Announce Strategic Relationship

Wednesday, July 18, 2018

Press release from the issuing company

Atlanta, Ga. – Canon Solutions America, Inc. and Racami, LLC announce their strategic relationship to help address pressing problems facing insurance and financial institutions, commercial printers, direct marketers, and transactional processing companies.

Communicating with customers in relevant and valuable ways is difficult in today’s digital-mobile world. “Companies have been chasing digital consumer behavior for years as retail technology evolves so quickly.” said Hani Khalaf, president and CTO of Racami. It has taken 10 years for culture and technology to settle into a pocket where companies are truly responding to the communication preferences of their customers. “A company’s response is vital to achieving their desired customer journey and maintaining positive relationships,” states Khalaf.

Racami’s Alchem-e™ platform combined with Canon Solutions America’s ability to reliably deliver sophisticated solutions to their clients gives organizations new ways to dynamically interact with their customers. Many companies focus on document composition when addressing personalized multi-channel communications, but communicating with digital consumers is largely a production and workflow problem. The tools for database management, document composition, printing, mailing, emailing, billing and such are powerful, but they are a collection of isolated products. This fragmentation can result in lack of visibility of the work, inefficient processing, quality issues, data security risks, and inability to perfect multi-channel conversations with consumers. Print MIS and ADF systems have solved some of the problems, but they are outpaced by the evolution of the digital economy and empowered consumer. “Companies are asking us for a master Customer Communications Management (CCM) system that is economical and installs fast.” “They can’t afford to start over, so our Alchem-e™ platform assembles the existing parts into a homogenous system,” states Khalaf.

Canon Solutions America is continuing to help its customers cut costs and better serve their customers with the addition of Racami’s Alchem-e™ platform. According to Vice President of Professional Service, Canon Solutions America, Ed Jansen, “Alchem-e’s approach is unique to the market. It’s an integration platform that creates a single system – a primary command center – out of the tools our customers are already using.” This approach helps eliminate the disruption caused by big migrations, makes for a faster deployment, and minimizes the financial impact on organizations as they advance their capabilities. "We can help our customers streamline their processes and reach their goals quickly and economically," said Canon Solutions America Vice President of Marketing Eric Hawkinson. “That’s good for everyone involved in the value chain.”

Canon Solutions America and Racami are showcasing their products at Print 18 in Chicago, September 30 - October 2, 2018 and at the thINK Conference in Boca Raton, FL, September 5-7.
