Minuteman Press Owner Renee Mansour Recognized By Franchise Business Review as 2018 Rockstar Franchisee

Friday, April 13, 2018

Press release from the issuing company

Farmingdale, N.Y. & Bend, Ore. – Renee Mansour, owner of the Minuteman Press design, marketing, and printing franchise in Bend, Oregon, has been selected by independent franchisee satisfaction firm Franchise Business Review as a 2018 Rockstar Franchisee. Renee is one of only 50 franchise owners out of 27,000 surveyed by Franchise Business Review to receive this impressive award.

A dedicated mom and entrepreneur, Renee Mansour joined the Minuteman Press franchise family in February 2015. Renee says, "As our children became teenagers, my desire to do something for me became stronger. I took a position working for a local company full-time, and I struggled with the lack of satisfaction I felt. I am a committed person that gives 100-plus percent, and when that wasn’t received by my employer I started to feel that I would be better off putting my energy towards my own business."

She adds, "The ongoing local support Minuteman Press provides was one of the things that appealed to me. Business to business sales and the hours of operation (Monday-Friday) were another reason we choose Minuteman Press. We still have teenagers at home and I want to be present in their lives. Those reasons coupled with the fact that Minuteman Press is the only franchise I researched that offered a cap on royalties, made it an easy decision for us. The more I sell beyond the cap, the more I am rewarded."

Renee's professional background is in sales and the skills she acquired during her career translated well into owning her own Minuteman Press franchise business. She explains, "I was a major account sales rep for IKON office solutions and the skills of cold calling, being able to hear no and not take it personally, and managing the sales process have been the most helpful. I have also managed large groups of people for national cycling events, so the skills of dealing with many different personalities and giving direction have also been helpful in successfully dealing with customers and staff while being patient."

Through her hard work and dedication, Renee has significantly grown her business over the past three years and takes pride in helping her customers by providing the highest levels of quality and service. She says, "I love seeing the joy on our customers' faces after they have received the finished products we produced for them. I also love the win. It is incredibly gratifying to have visited or called on a local business to later have that business become one of our clients."

"Renee Mansour is a true professional and an exemplary Minuteman Press franchise owner," says Chris Jutt, Minuteman Press International Regional Vice President for the Pacific Northwest. He adds, "Renee works hard, respects her clients, and I congratulate her on being acknowledged for her efforts in building her business."

As a 2018 Rockstar Franchisee, Renee has these words of advice for aspiring entrepreneurs: "My advice to any entrepreneur or small business owner is to get out of the office and market your business. Be that kind, energetic face that people want to do business with. Then follow it up with great service and quality products. Join BNI as well as Opportunity Knocks. You need to not only work in your business but on your business."

Renee Mansour's Minuteman Press franchise is located at 235 SE Wilson Ave, Suite 100, Bend, OR 97702. For more information, call Renee and her team at 541-749-2900 or visit their website: www.bend.minutemanpress.com
