Sir Speedy in Sarasota, Fla., Calls OKI C942 an Absolute “Game Changer”

Wednesday, March 14, 2018

Press release from the issuing company

Brian Doerner, General Manager at Sir Speedy, works with 23 employees in a 7000 sq ft building in beautiful Sarasota Florida. When Brian needed a high-quality, digital envelope printer, he selected the OKI C942DP+. He chose the C942DP+ primarily for the color consistency. It not only maintains color consistency during a print run, but also run-to-run, even months apart, including perfect spot color matching.
According to Brian, for the last decade customers have been asking about printing white on dark media, including envelopes, and he could never deliver. Now, with the OKI C942, there is a whole new world opening up. Brian called this system a “real game changer.”

At Sir Speedy Sarasota they primarily print standard #10 and #9 return envelopes, but they also print a considerable amount of A7 and A9 invitation envelopes. Setting up the OKI feeder to accommodate for the variable sizes on the C942DP+ is easy and effortless. Brian also acknowledges that the configuration is fantastic. End-to-end, from the input feeder to the output conveyor, the devices seamlessly integrate, resulting in a flawless operation and superior output.

The flexibility and opportunities this system provides has opened many doors that were not previously available before. Sir Speedy Sarasota is looking forward to a very profitable 2018
