Press release from the issuing company

Stamford, Conn. – Pitney Bowes Inc., a global technology company that provides innovative products and solutions to power commerce, today announced that PCI Group has deployed the Pitney Bowes Epic inserting system to power its new state-of-the-art production mail center in Irving, Texas. The new production mail center, which opened earlier this month, is designed to produce millions of pieces of personalized transactional mail each day for PCI’s clients in the highly regulated financial and healthcare industries.

“As our business continues to grow, we need to increase our capabilities and capacity while continuing to ensure 100 percent accuracy and compliance for our all our clients,” said Chris Kropac Jr., President of PCI Group. “We do more than a million multi-page mail pieces per day. The Pitney Bowes Epic system not only improves productivity, it gives us the confidence that each page is correctly inserted into the right envelop from the first piece of mail to the last and provides an auditable record of each piece. I trust the Pitney Bowes integrity solutions. They are the best in the business and help me sleep at night.”

The Epic inserting system is an innovative inserting solution that offers the best synergy for high-speed efficient letter processing as well as flexible processing of flats. This multi-format mail inserter delivers accurate high-integrity results, top-quality service levels and a lower total cost of ownership for simple and complex transactional processing. The Epic accurately accounts for all pieces within a job. It supports file-based processing, tracking every page of every mail piece and ensuring the high level of integrity. Additionally, the automated setup features ensure consistent, reliable and accurate results across every shift.

“We are delighted to partner with PCI Group in order to boost productivity and help ensure document integrity and compliance for their customers,” said Grant Miller, President, Pitney Bowes Document Messaging Technologies. “The high-volume transactional mail market is booming and companies like PCI are building their capacity and capabilities to handle that growth and deliver even greater value and service to their valued clients. The Epic inserting system sets the bar for document integrity, productivity, ease of use and reliability. We recently celebrated our 100th Epic install in October. Since then, we have continued to see tremendous demand for all of our inserting technology.”

PCI Group, which was founded in 1970, is based in Ft. Mills, S.C. PCI’s new 43,000-square-foot production center in Irving, Texas also features a wide range of security features, ranging from 24/7 security cameras and key card access to one-way-in/one-way-out building access and full visibility of the production floor, to protect customer data and to address the highly regulatory compliant aspects of its business.
