Colne, Lancashire, UK – Tharstern, the technology for print, packaging and labelling industries, will be showing latest world-class MIS (Management Information Systems) developments at two print shows in the UK in the coming weeks.

First stop will be The Print Show, Stand E02, at Telford International Centre from 11-13 October. And then the Tharstern team will also be using IPEX at the NEC, Birmingham, from 31 October to 3 November as another important platform, where they will be based on Stand H320.

Among the highlights at both shows will be Tharstern’s latest two modules – Business Intelligence and Advanced Imposition. The Business Intelligence module provide users with a smarter way to access and analyse their MIS data, uncovering trends and opportunities, while the Advanced Imposition module offers a quick and easy way to create complex imposition plans from jobs of different shapes and sizes. 

Experts will show how latest MIS is seamlessly integrated with other essential software. Visitors will also be able to pick up free copies of its latest strategy guides, as well as customer case studies. They will be showing visitors how clients can transform the way clients manage their print or packaging workflow.

Tharstern, the worldwide specialist in management information systems for the print and packaging industries with over 700 worldwide installations, will also be discussing more details about its partnership announced in August with Infigo Software. They will be showing the integration between their two powerful solutions automates functions such as product mapping, job specification and submission, estimating, reporting, imposition, stock management, billing and shipping into a streamlined workflow

One new development enabled by the Infigo partnership is integrated live pricing through the new Tharstern API. This is a first which means that pricing can now be pulled automatically from the Tharstern MIS into Infigo Software’s Catfish platform, creating a single-entry solution for product pricing, and resulting in real-time, on-demand quotations for end users. This reduces manual tasks. 

The exciting new integration will provide a better customer experience, online accessibility, greater autonomy and instant round the clock pricing. It will also give the printing company great control and arm the sales team with the tools to create their own estimates on site to win orders there and then.
