DALIM SOFTWARE collaborative workflow and MGI digital printing joint solutions on display at Labelexpo Europe 2017

Tuesday, September 26, 2017

Press release from the issuing company

DALIM SOFTWARE (Hall 9, Stand A64) and MGI (Hall 8, Stands C51/C52) will demonstrate new, integrated production solutions that serve a wide range of print and content users from label creation to digital printing during Labelexpo Europe 2017. MGI digital presses and finishing systems will produce labels generated from DALIM ES, demonstrating how projects can easily progress from brand owners, through designers and, finally, into digital production.

“MGI and DALIM SOFTWARE have both achieved success because we base our product decisions according to customer needs, and we help guide customers through tomorrow’s challenges. This is no more evident than through the slate of partnered solutions MGI and DALIM SOFTWARE will be exhibiting during Labelexpo,” says Isabelle Billerey Rayel, DALIM SOFTWARE’s business development director in Europe.

DALIM SOFTWARE: Managing packaging and marketing together.

DALIM ES is a collaborative solution that follows label and packaging projects from concept through production. However, it is not solely dedicated to packaging. DALIM ES offers complete brand management, with approval cycles for all marketing efforts required for a product launch, including POS displays, marketing collateral and promotional items, print advertising campaigns, social media and video. With DALIM SOFTWARE solutions, users possess tools that enable them to simplify and automate their marketing workflow while keeping everything under control under a centralized content management system. It also allows them to have easy access to key performance indicator dashboards to measure success.

“DALIM SOFTWARE is demonstrating packaging and marketing solutions managed together. We hope to help identify and anticipate the growing needs of brands, retailers, and other content developers, while integrating our solutions into their traditional label—and marketing—supply chains,” comments Billerey Rayel. “During Labelexpo Europe 2017, DALIM SOFTWARE’s and MGI’s objective is to demonstrate how easy and efficient it is to manage and produce a growing number of label SKUs, including offering customization and design enhancements while assuring brand consistency within a high quality standard.”

MGI: Worldwide leader in digital finishing

For MGI, this partnership with DALIM SOFTWARE is an opportunity to emphasize the added value of flexible labels and packaging thanks to digital technologies. “On the shelves, a product has only two seconds to catch consumers' attention and finally conquer them. Once in hand, the emotion it conveys impacts the buying decision. With our roll-to-roll printing technologies and complete inline digital finishing, third parties can place personalized products such as UV varnish, relief varnish and hot foil on the shelves. Numbering wine labels with hot foil, and printing holograms with variable data on tubes or flexible packaging is now possible. This opens up new horizons and leverages the attractiveness of labels, sleeves and flexible packaging on shelves,” explains Victor Abergel, MGI’s vice president.

A supporting partnership

DALIM SOFTWARE and MGI will offer their combined skills and experiences for shared customers. In doing so, they benefit from DALIM SOFTWARE’s expertise in developing collaborative and digital asset management solutions, and MGI’s exceptional proficiency with digital printing and finishing equipment. “We believe that our partnership with MGI can offer a unique experience for shared clients. We are companies that are large enough to provide state-of-the art knowledge, along with the enthusiasm to build long-term personal relationships,” adds Billerey Rayel.
