Press release from the issuing company

New York - Printing Industries Alliance, today announced that Komori, Screen  and Paper Mart have joined PIA’s  DIGITAL PRINT THINK TANK TWO on July 26th, 2017 in NYC.

The event is open to all industry editors and consultants free of charge. Some presenters may be making announcements at our event and it is an excellent opportunity to get the jump on their digital printing updates prior to PRINT 17. Those editors who wish to attend are asked to contact Marty Maloney in advance, for credentials to be prepared.

The list of presentation sponsors also includes EFI, Ricoh, Canon, Heidelberg, Xerox, HP and Konica Minolta. Presentation sponsorships are now closed.

The event will take place at Club 101, located at 101 Park Avenue, NY, NY at 40th Street.  Mark Michelson, our event’s lead moderator will be joined by expert panelists, speakers and presenters. Over 100 printers will hear the latest updates and options for all areas of digital printing including toner, inkjet production, label & packaging and wide format. A digital experience printers panel will feature top management from printers large and small; including Mike Graff, CEO of Sandy Alexander and Cheryl Kahanec, President of Marketing Solutions Group, Earth Color and Eric Webber, CEO & President of Cohber Press.

Marty Maloney, Executive Vice President, Printing Industries Alliance stated “it has been over a year since are first Think Tank and Printers are requesting an update. They like our format which allows them to make side-by-side comparisons and find out which press should be their next digital purchase”.

A new tier of sponsorship has been added to the event.  This new tier is a non-presentation sponsorship that will give supporting vendors a reserved table for five persons, an in-room small perimeter table to sell as well as display literature.  Paper Mart,  Pantone / Xrite and Lindenmeyer Munroe are in this category. Complete details of both sponsorships are found below.

The event will cut across all digital printing technologies from the simplest to ink jet production and all applications will be discussed including direct mail, books, labels & packaging and wide format graphics. The presentations will be interspersed by discussion panels that will include a panel of digital printers and also a panel of digital press manufacturers.

The last Think Tank held in October, 2015 (more than 18 months ago) had an audience of well over 100 from the metro NY and NJ area. We believe we will definitely exceed that number.  Printers have asked us to hold this digital printing forum.  After multiple evolutions at Drupa and Graph Expo they want an update which allows them to make side-by-side comparisons and find out which press should be their next digital press.

Sponsors should contact Marty Maloney at 203 912 0804 or by email at [email protected] or [email protected]

Printers and others who wish to register for the event should contact Kim Tuzzo at 716 691 3211 or email at [email protected]
