Gerhardshofen – WEILBURGER Graphics GmbH, based in Gerhardshofen, Franconia, successfully participated at the international CFTA conference which took place in the Záme?ek hotel in Mikulov, Czech Republic from April 26th until 27th. The CFTA is the Czech daughter federation of the European FTA, the European umbrella organization of the flexo industry. The FTA Europe represent the common interest of the European flexo industry and also provides a joint platform for the European flexo associations to encourage European exchanges, cooperation and general orientation of the regional offshoots. As a longstanding member of the German DFTA, WEILBURGER Graphics was invited by the Czech CFTA to present their high-quality inks and varnishes of the SENOFLEX® product classes.

The main objective of the two-day conference under the motto “Colourful World in Flexoprint” was to discuss current trends and market developments in the flexo industry and to explain with dedicated presentations.

Arno Dürr, Sales Director of Weilburger Graphics GmbH presented together with Thomas Popp, Technical Sales, the company’s extensive product range for the flexo printing under the lecture title “SENOFLEX^® - waterbased inks and special coatings”. Among other things, the high yield series of SENOFLEX flexo scales and mixed colours were presented which are particularly achieve excellent results in the corrugated direct printing and more than fulfil the trend to higher brilliance and finishing, especially in combination with the SENOFLEX^® protection and effect coatings of WEILBURGER Graphics. The new formulations of the high yield SENOFLEX^® scale colours as well as the extensive and reproducible mixing options for special colours from the SENOFLEX^® mixed colour series were introduced at the FachPack 2016 for the first time to a wide audience and were excellent received by the visitors.

Parallel to the conference, it was announced that THIMM Obaly, K.s, a customer of the company, has won the silver medal of the Excellence in Flexopgraphy Award 2017 in the category Combined Corrugated with their wine box for the company Vinarství Muténice. The packaging was produced with colours and varnishes of the WEILBURGER Graphics as well as with coating plates from the company PANFLEX.

The SENOFLEX^® WB BLACK HC FP NDC 395080, SENOPRINT^® WB GOLD 871 354711 as well as the SENOFLEX^® WB GLOSS COATING FP NDC 350468 followed by the SENOSOFT^® WB MATT COATING FP NDC 350215 were used from the SENOFLEX^® WB scale series. The packaging was produced in the corrugated direct printing.
