Recruit Top Talent at Cal Poly’s Career Day

Press release from the issuing company

Cal Poly’s Graphic Communication (GrC) Career Day is hosted on campus every quarter during the academic year to allow employers to discuss employment, and to conduct interviews with students. Full-time and internship/co-op employment is strongly encouraged.

Career Day consists of a morning "exposition style" session, encouraging students to visit different company tables and ask questions about employment opportunities. The event is a great chance to showcase your organization and recruit top talent.

Some recruiters use displays while many opt to bring samples and literature that describe their organizations. Giveaways are popular with the students and leave a lasting impression.

In the afternoon, recruiters may conduct interviews with selected students in designated private interview rooms. Employers control interview sign-ups during the expo portion of the day, so the criteria for interview selection can be maintained by the exhibitor.
