Graham VIcek joins IIJ to drive US inkjet operations as President

Swavesey, Cambridgeshire, UK – Industrial Inkjet Limited (IIJ), the fast-expanding manufacturer of bespoke digital print engines based on Konica Minolta inkjet print heads, has appointed Graham VIcek as President of its US operations. 

Colorado-based, Graham has been in the inkjet industry since 2008, operating in engineering, product and technology management roles for companies such as ITW Trans Tech and Imaging Technology International.  His roles at ACS Motion Control and In-Position Technologies provided sales experience in highly technical fields. The diverse background and appointments have given him strong engineering and management skills, backed up by invaluable technical and sales capabilities.

Graham has extensive experience with direct-to-product inkjet decoration systems participating in all phases of inkjet process development. His project experience includes materials pre-treatment, ink development, post-curing and jetting/waveform work for several printhead technologies. Graham also has experience of image processing, production workflow, and overall system design and integration across several platforms. Graham has a dual engineering degree in electrical and mechanical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, Golden, CO. Before entering the print industry in 2008, Graham worked with precision automation systems.  He used those skills to develop complete automation solutions for both scanning and single-pass printing systems.

IIJ Managing Director John Corrall welcomed the addition of Graham to the company, adding: “Graham is exceptionally well qualified to take on this position, as we aggressively expand our operations in the US market. We have a huge amount of investment and activity planned in North America, as we do in numerous territories around the world where interest in our technology is rapidly growing.” 

Konica Minolta’s inkjet printheads are being used in a wide variety of applications, including packaging, labels, product decoration and security printing to name a few.
