Foster Grande Lifter Now Available for Handling Very Large and Heavy Media Rolls

Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania - Foster has announced the immediate availability of the Foster On-a-Roll Lifter^® Grande, a new lifter capable of handling extremely heavy rolls of media. With the device, printer operators and shop floor personnel can quickly and safely maneuver rolls as heavy as 1540 lbs (700 kg) and with roll diameters as great as 31.5 inches (800 mm). The Grande lifter has a roll tray that facilitates loading and unloading, as well as transporting, rolls.

Announcing the new lifter, Foster CEO Ted Borowsky said: "Large media rolls are extremely difficult for operators to handle in the typical print shop, converter, or packaging firm. Our new Foster On-a-Roll Lifter Grande permits operators to quickly and easily load and unload printers, as well as maneuver heavy rolls in the warehouse and on the shop floor. The Grande lifter is available from Foster dealers around the world."
