GMC Software Technology (GMC), the award-winning leader in Customer Communications Management (CCM), announced today the conclusion of its successfulannual GMC Inspire Days Americas user conference held October 4-7 on Marco Island, FL. The conference theme “Shaping the Future of CCM” encouraged attendees to look ahead to the future of the industry, technology and the trends driving both.

Attendance of the event was up 32 percent over last year with 226 registrants from 70 companies, coming from more than 10 countries and a variety of industries. The event featured 24 speakers, including GMC Software executive and technical team members, presenting on a wide range of topics relevant to the evolving CCM landscape. Additionally, GMC users were given an inside look at real-world GMC Inspire applications from Abe Karar, director, Everyday Banking & Cards Process at BMO Bank of Montreal, who shared how his organization approached the business case for digitization and eForms/eSignature capabilities. Case study presentations also included Pacific Life’s walkthrough of how the 145-year old financial services organization leveraged GMC Inspire for an on demand letter solution. On the service provider side, OSG/SouthData presented its story about how the national document management provider utilized the flexibility of GMC Inspire to modify the company’s workflows for high-level efficiency.

GMC presented its Application Showcase Awards to honor GMC customers who achieved outstanding results using GMC Inspire software to achieve improved customer experience, more effective communications and reduced costs by streamlining CCM processes. Winners were: Pete Sweers, Technical Solutions Consultant, KP LLC, a provider of direct marketing services with a wide range of print, mail, fulfillment, ecommerce portals, campaign management and digital solutions; Carroll Schiley, Content Development Manager, IWCO Direct, a vertically-integrated direct marketing provider that drives response across all channels with a focus on relevant paper-based and digital direct marketing campaigns and Rich Gasser, Vice President of Software Development, OSG/SouthData, a national, full-service document management provider specializing in electronic and paper-based billing, high quality variable printing, distribution and mail services, electronic and paper-based storage, document scanning and computer services.

Attendees also had the opportunity to join GMC's executives to network and enjoy the beautiful setting at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort.

The conference wound down with a sneak peek at GMC’s upcoming new version, GMC Inspire R11, which builds on the industry-shaking R10, released July 2015, that was recognized by analysts from Forrester, Gartner and IDC.

“GMC Inspire Days Americas provided the perfect opportunity to take an in-depth look with our GMC Inspire community at what the future of customer communications will look like,” said Steve Francis, president, Americas, GMC Software. “It was also extremely valuable to have the time to cover the many-faceted trends, opportunities and challenges that these CCM professionals face as they rethink what it means to communicate and engage with customers.
