With immediate effect, Imaging Solutions AG (ISAG) offers a new automatic book press for the production of professional photo book blocks: perfectPress.

This finishing device presses book blocks into a defined shape during the setting time of the hotmelt glue. The contact pressure of perfectPress is adjustable from 132.25 lbs up to 264.50 lbs.

By using perfectPress, book blocks get a firmer structure and a more compact book spine. Additionally, this final book pressing has a positive impact on the straightness of the photo book, resulting in an increase of quality.

This automatic book press can be used as stand-alone unit as well as inline solution and is fully integrated in the bookbinding systems fastBlock and fastBook Professional by Imaging Solutions. The perfectPress book press is a 100 % Swiss made solution for precise and quality photo book finishing.

Space-saving photo book production and definite order processing

An optional 90-degree-transfer solution ensures space-saving production, while the book blocks will be transported from the bookbinding system, e.g. fastBlock or fastBook Professional, to the book press in parallel direction.

Additionally, a bar code printer with conveyor provides an improved order management. Therefore the book block will be aligned in a first step, before the bar code is printed in the running direction. As an option, bar code printing transversely to the running direction is available, too. Finally, the inkjet printed bar code can be read out by a scanner.
