Press release from the issuing company

HP Inc. is announcing that Colorado Springs, Colorado-based Flextec Corporation purchased an HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press to expand its ability to provide consistent, repeatable, high-quality labels and packaging with fast turnarounds.

Flextec Corporation, a high-volume converter providing “quality first without compromise” for the nutraceutical, food and beverage and animal care markets, is further reinforcing its commitment to delivering great results for its customers with the HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press. The new press will enhance the company’s ability to provide value though just-in-time manufacturing at a fair market value, streamline supply chain management and accelerate time to market.

“Adopting the HP Indigo platform a few years ago has allowed us to better deliver on our promise for high print quality, leveraging HP Indigo’s color management profiles, automated tools for consistent and repeatable results, and on-time deliveries with one or multiple SKUs,” said Rocky E. Rahija, president and CEO, Flextec Corporation. “The decision to invest in the HP Indigo 8000 was based on the success of our existing HP Indigo digital printing technology, and the HP Indigo 8000’s enhanced performance will allow Flextec to address a much broader customer profile.”

The HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press is the industry’s most productive digital narrow-web press, doubling the production speeds of current narrow-web digital presses. The press enables customers to move more jobs from flexo to digital, gain game-changing economic efficiencies with enhanced speed and explore new customized application possibilities.

“With the HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press running seamlessly alongside our existing technology, we can continue to improve performance for our customers,” said Rahija. “We look forward to strengthening our partnership with HP Indigo and salute their ongoing efforts to innovate and deliver state-of-the-art technology that allows our industry to prosper – not only from a converting perspective, but by streamlining the entire end-to-end manufacturing supply chain.”
