Press release from the issuing company

MOO, the digital print and design company specializing in premium business stationery and promotional materials, has purchased the HP Indigo WS6800 Digital Press at Labelexpo Americas 2016. The company will use the press to deliver innovative new label applications with faster turnarounds and impeccable print quality.

Since its launch in 2006, the company has exclusively leveraged HP Indigo digital printing technology to set a new standard for print and disrupt the global print industry, reaching businesses of all sizes and aiming to make great design available to everyone. Currently operating HP Indigo 7000 series Digital Presses in London and HP Indigo 7000 series Digital Presses in Rhode Island, MOO printed 185 million business cards in 2015 and has hundreds of thousands of customers in almost 200 countries.

“Exceptional print quality and fast turnarounds are critical to our business,” said John Kennedy, chief operating officer, MOO. “Our HP Indigo digital presses have helped us earn a reputation of delivering consistent, repeatable results for our customers. The new HP Indigo WS6800 Digital Press will allow us to offer our customers more innovation with the proven quality and speed they expect and will help us to capture new high-value growth opportunities in the label market.”

The HP Indigo WS6800 Digital Press features advanced automated color management tools that will enable MOO to create impactful, eye-catching labels and meet strict brand standards. The press offers a wide color gamut and supports a variety of media, including synthetic and paper substrates, further expanding MOO’s application possibilities. The HP Indigo WS6800 Digital Press will fit seamlessly into the company’s current production workflow, allowing the company to provide consistent production across its multiple locations and presses. The press will be installed in October following Labelexpo.
