Presstek Reports Success with Debut of New High Performance CTP Solutions

Hudson, NH USA – Presstek, LLC, leading provider of eco-friendly printing solutions, today announced that its new range of highly productive, environmentally-friendly CTP imaging systems and plates are drawing crowds and garnering a lot of attention at drupa 2016.

Making its worldwide debut, the Presstek Dimension Pro 2 Thermal CTP System is being demonstrated with both the new chemistry-free, develop-on-press Presstek GemPlate and the Presstek Zahara plate for waterless offset printing. Visitors to the stand are seeing the high levels of performance, productivity and quality that can be delivered by the Dimension Pro 2 with Presstek thermal plates. They are enthusiastic about the results and the choices available to satisfy their specific pressroom requirements; from automation, resolution and productivity options, to 4-, 6- and 8-page format sizes, to the ability to image a wide range of 830 nm-compatible plates for both commercial and newspaper applications. Commercial printers looking for a Pressstek-optimized, long run length solution for their web and sheetfed presses can also choose Presstek Nytro, an eco-friendly, high resolution plate. Newspaper printers are favoring the wide selection of thermal plates that Presstek has introduced in order to satisfy a wide range of printing environments and run length requirements, including the new N200, GemPlate Newz and Zahara Newz plates that are specifically engineered for newspaper applications.
