AlphaGraphics Turns to XMPie Software to Help Their Franchisees and Customers Deliver Innovative Marketing Solutions

Press release from the issuing company

NEW YORK – XMPie, a Xerox Company, today announced it is supplying AlphaGraphics, a leader in print and marketing communications services, with scalable, cloud?based software as the technology behind its agOnline Web?to?Print, multi?channel and marketing automation solution. This will enable the AlphaGraphics network of more than 275 Business Centers to offer a wide range of print and digital marketing solutions. From simple one?off print orders to cutting edge multi?channel and marketing automation, XMPie allows AlphaGraphics franchisees to better compete and accelerate their business growth.

“While there is always a need for online ordering of one?time print jobs – business cards, stationery, brochures and more – the higher value services of individualized communications in print or multi? channel are critical for accelerated business growth,” said Andrew Copley, president, Global Graphic Communications Operations, Xerox Technology. “Service providers must up their game in order to stay relevant for their customers, which is exactly what XMPie software enables AlphaGraphics and its franchisees to achieve.”

The integrated, yet open, digital media architecture along with the software’s automation capabilities make it possible to deliver the higher?value marketing services that AlphaGraphics wants its franchisees to offer. The software’s use of Adobe technology as its layout engine for documents and templates removes multiple workflow bottlenecks, allowing franchisees to be much more efficient in serving their customers and, at the same time, better meet their customers’ design demands.

“Our vision is to enable our franchisees to offer customers the most innovative and advanced print and marketing communications solutions that enable them to compete and grow their business in a fast changing market,” said Aaron Grohs, president of AlphaGraphics. “Our agOnline product presents an opportunity to help customers streamline the ordering process, maintain brand standards, reduce time? to?market and increase efficiencies in managing their print and marketing programs.”

AlphaGraphics was confident that XMPie software would add value to their franchisees. An important decision?making criteria in selecting XMPie was the service?based delivery with the built?in scalability for functionality and performance.

“This is a significant competitive advantage,” said Grohs. “We believe the enhanced agOnline solution powered by XMPie strengthens our leadership position in the print franchise industry.”

Because XMPie deployed an AlphaGraphics?dedicated architecture that is cloud based, scalable, and delivered as a subscription?based service, franchisees do not have to invest, manage and grow an infrastructure on their own. The large scale of the AlphaGraphics network – combined with AlphaGraphics and XMPie’s alignment of vision and the Cloud?readiness of the XMPie technology – made this unique delivery and business model possible.

“Providing a scalable solution to the requirements of AlphaGraphics was a challenge we felt we must meet. Working with AlphaGraphics, we were able to define an architecture that is scalable in functionality and performance, and it provides for gradual on?boarding of franchisees, allowing each to tailor and adjust their portfolio of services so that it will fit their business vision and capabilities.” said Jacob Aizikowitz, president, XMPie, a Xerox Company.
