Press release from the issuing company

DALLAS, May 21 -- Kinko's, the world's leading provider of document solutions and business services, today unveiled its newest offering -- Kinko's Sign and Banner Centers.  The new centers extend Kinko's existing nationwide sign, poster and banner capabilities with a growing network of dedicated departments within existing Kinko's locations. At launch, Kinko's Sign and Banner Centers are open in more than 20 markets around the country, including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston and Los Angeles.  The company plans to open more than 200 centers serving all major U.S. markets by the end of 2002.  As a result, Kinko's digitally connected network will offer sign and banner customers the capacity, scalability, distribution, speed, and access not available from franchised, licensed or local competitors. "Kinko's document and business services solutions deliver against customer needs.  Kinko's Sign and Banner Centers provide customers with convenient access to top-quality sign and banner capabilities from a name they know and trust," said Gary Kusin, Kinko's president and chief executive officer.  "With the introduction of Kinko's Sign and Banner Centers, Kinko's has once again extended our range as a one-stop shop for business services and document solutions." Features include a range of state-of-the-art equipment for designing, plotting and printing a variety of vinyl, coroplast, PVC, aluminum and magnetic products.  Kinko's selected industry-leading manufacturers such as Hewlett-Packard Company and Gerber Scientific Products to equip the new centers with the latest machines and supplies. "The team at Gerber Scientific Products is delighted to contribute to the success of Kinko's Sign and Banner Centers by supplying world-renowned sign production tools that will enable Kinko's to achieve its goals and serve customers," said Elaine Pullen, president of Gerber Scientific Products. "Kinko's is the first major new player to enter this market in many years, and we feel their success will ultimately grow the industry." "HP is delighted to continue our long-standing relationship with Kinko's in their newest initiative," said Daryl Little, manager of HP's North America Large Format Printing Solutions Business Unit.  "We are proud that Kinko's has chosen our industry-leading large format production systems to provide this service to their customers.
