Kodak Polychrome Graphics Appoints CIO and CFO

Norwalk, Connecticut, USA Ò Jeff Jacobson, Chief Executive Officer of Kodak Polychrome Graphics, has announced that Jeffrey A. Cook has been named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Cook also will be a member of the Leadership Team and an officer of the company. Cook will be responsible for all the company's financial operations and corporate development functions including accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, cash management, internal audit, planning/forecasting, and capital spending. He also will ensure the company has appropriate financial staffing worldwide, maintain functional performance standards, and initiate appropriate professional development programs. "We are very pleased to have a financial professional of Jeff's caliber and experience join our senior management team," says Jacobson. "He will not only lead our worldwide financial function but also be a key contributor to the development of our annual business plan and long term corporate strategy." Cook was most recently the Vice President, Finance, of Moore North America, a $1.4 billion U.S. and Canadian producer of forms, labels, equipment, and digital technology/e-commerce based in Lake Forest, Illinois. He began his 25-year career with General Electric Company (GE) and completed GE's Financial Management Program. Over the next 17 years, he progressed through positions of increasing responsibility, including three years with GE's global traveling audit staff; Chief Financial Officer, GE Consulting Services, Inc.; Vice President, Finance, GE Government Services; and Vice President, Finance, Lockheed Martin Services Group (formerly GE Aerospace). He subsequently served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bechtel Systems and Infrastructure Inc. Cook earned a B.A. degree in Economics and Financial Management from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. Jeff Jacobson, Chief Executive Officer of Kodak Polychrome Graphics, has announced the appointment of Linda Vande Ven to the position of Vice President and Chief Information Officer. She will be a member of the Leadership Team and an officer of the company. As Chief Information Officer, Vande Ven will set worldwide technical and staffing standards, policies, and procedures and provide global leadership for managing the IT function. She will ensure that current and new systems projects are consistent with business priorities and delivered on time and on budget. She also will provide support for strategic initiatives in e-commerce and will be responsible for IT-related outsourcing agreements. "Linda will be a catalyst for using information technology to support the company's strategic initiatives and enhance our overall ability to support our customers," says Jacobson. "She will assess our current information systems and, in collaboration with the rest of the Leadership Team, develop the best IT strategy for meeting current and future business needs." Prior to joining Kodak Polychrome Graphics, Vande Ven was Chief Information Officer and Vice President, Information Systems & Services, for the Consumer Products Group of Honeywell International, Inc. (formerly Allied Signal). Vande Ven began her career with Bridgestone/Firestone, Incorporated, where she spent 18 years and progressed through positions of increasing responsibility in systems analysis and management. From there, she held positions of Director, Applications Development, for United Stationers; Director, Systems Development, for Eckerd Corporation; and Assistant Vice President, Information Technology Planning and Development, for Norfolk Southern Corporation. Vande Ven earned a B.S. degree in mathematics, cum laude, from the University of Akron in Ohio. She also holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
