Press release from the issuing company

“Securing A Successful Future” Seminars Demonstrate Path to Profitability

Eede, the Netherlands – A group of label industry leaders (that cover a broad spectrum of aspects related to self-adhesive label production) will present a series of events called “Securing a Successful Future.” Presented by Flint Group Narrow Web, Label Traxx, Mark Andy, ThermoFlexX and Xeikon, this seminar series will educate label printers and packaging converters about key developments in the North American label market. Five events are scheduled to take place in regional locations throughout the U.S. and Canada starting in April.

These events will include a presentation by LPC, an industry analyst firm, on the results of a study they conducted in the beginning of 2016. The study provides comprehensive market research on the North American labeling sector, covering topics that include the profit curve, market sizing, trends by vertical market and run-size pain points for converters.

In addition, the event will include presentations from converters who will talk about their own experiences, as well as presentations from five industry leaders will be sharing their expertise. These leaders are:

Kelly Kolliopoulos at Flint Narrow Web, says, “If a label or packaging printer is seeking to increase their productivity, print quality, and reduce energy and maintenance costs, they need to be aware of EkoCure(tm) UV LED inks. At these seminars, we'll cover this topic in detail, helping converters to understand how to adopt this new technology and improve their business results.”

Label Traxx president Ken Meinhardt explains, “The industry as a whole, is experiencing higher volumes of orders than ever before, it has never been more essential to optimize your workflow and streamline your admin and operations. We work very closely on integration with key suppliers. This ensures Label Traxx gives you the tools to manage your business effectively.

Rick Mix, Channel Manager at ThermoFlexX notes, “Successful label production begins with the pre-press process. At these events, we will help attendees understand the role that workflow, digital imaging and plate making plays in achieving superb image quality regardless of the substrate on which you’re printing.”

David Wilkins, Vice President of Sales at Xeikon, says, “Today, there are new challenges and opportunities facing converters. That’s why we created this roadshow - to give converters a better understanding of how digital solutions can enable them to better produce shorter run jobs. Through real world customer experiences, industry data, and demonstrations, we’ll prove how using digital presses alongside flexo solutions leads to improved efficiency and profitability.”
