Roland DG & Apsom Infotex to launch Texart XT-640 at Garment Technology Exhibition

Press release from the issuing company

Delhi, India - Today Roland DG announces the launch of yet another masterpiece into the Indian market; the Texart XT-640 dye-sublimation transfer printer, which will be making its debut appearance at the Garment Technology Exhibition 2016, taking place at the NSIC Exhibition Complex, Okhla, New Delhi from 26th – 29th February, 2016 . Aiming to offer print businesses exceptional productivity and image quality, Roland DG and Apsom Infotex will exhibit the leading Texart series of printers (XT-640 and RT-640), which boast inherent safety and eco-friendly features, to add value for users that work in the Sublimation market.

The Texart XT-640 and Texart RT-640 are dye-sublimation transfer printers designed for the textile printing industry. They offer wide range of textile applications; including sports merchandising, fashion apparel, soft signs (polyester banners and flags), home furnishing interior décor, promotional items and personalized gifts. Available from Apsom Infotex Ltd, master distributor of Roland DG technology in India, the printers will be on display throughout GTE 2016.

The XT-640 is the latest in Roland DG’s series of Texart dye-sublimation transfer printers. The XT-640 features dual print heads to achieve high-speed performance print speeds of up to 63m/h. The chassis has been reinforced for stability, enabling highly detailed printing with precise ink droplet placement. A new, more convenient feed adjuster at the front and back of the printer provides even tensioning and prevents skewing of the media. Optimized for textile printing, the accompanying Texart inks deliver bold and vibrant colours and deep, rich blacks. Adding orange and violet inks increases the colour gamut and allows for exceptional reds, oranges, deep blues and purples, while light cyan and light magenta provide subtle gradations, beautiful skin tones and a remarkably fine level of detail.

Little sister to the XT-640; the Texart RT-640 delivers superb quality, vivid coloring and highly stable performance at an entry level price point. The RT-640 achieves high-speed performance up to 32.6m2/h. With use of Orange and Violet ink, in the 8-color mode, the Texart ink offers a broad range of colours enabling high contrast printing. The new Black ink has depth and density to produce accurate, intense and high-class graphics. Through the RT-640's optimized print control technology, beautifully sharp print image quality can be achieved to bring out the full expressive powers of Texart ink.

Both the printers are available in two ink configurations 4 colours (dual CMYK) and 8 colours (CMYKLcLmOrVi). Among the long list of features contributing to the RT-640 and XT-640’s productivity and ease of use, they enable unattended operations to be tended through Roland Printer Assist to check printing status from anywhere in the building using an iPad app.
