Amherst, NY - The 2015 Wage and Benefit Survey Report – one of the Association’s most popular member programs – is now available. This 56 page study was published in fall 2015 on behalf of all the affiliates of Printing Industries of America.  This year’s survey had more than 600 companies participating and included compensation reporting for nearly 22,000 employees, an increase from 2014’s 19,000 employees.

A specific regional analysis is also included for companies located in the Printing Industries Alliance footprint of New York State, New Jersey and Northwestern Pennsylvania. Data is included for a wide variety of positions including:

  • Office Administration
  • IT
  • Prepress
  • Digital printing
  • Sheetfed and web press operations
  • Narrow web/collators/specialty presses
  • Finishing/converting
  • Flexo
  • Bindery
  • Mailing and Fulfillment
  • Warehouse/maintenance

The report has two sections; compensation and benefits.  The compensation section included hourly wages and yearly salaries for a variety of staff and management positions. The benefits section included data on HR policies, vacation and holidays, health insurance, production shifts, overtime, leave and absence policies, performance incentives, and pensions/profit sharing. Printing Industries Alliance members who participated in the survey received a free copy of the report.  Member companies who did not participate in the survey can purchase a report for $250.  The purchase price for non-members is $1,000. Companies located in New York State, Northern New Jersey or Northwest Pennsylvania can order the 2015 Printing Industries Alliance Wage and Benefit Survey by contacting Kim Tuzzo at (716) 691-3211 or via email at ktuzzo@PIAlliance.org
