Bergisch Gladbach - Tecco, innovation leader and trend setter in the market for photo, fine art, proofing and lfp media, presents proof papers in double pack for the new Fogra norms.

Proof GmbH from Tuebingen was the first company worldwide to receive certification for contract proof referring to the new printing conditions Fogra 51 and Fogra 52, PSOcoatedV3 and PSOuncoatedV3. The company considers itself as portal for color consistent proofs, color proofs, digital proofs and online proofs offering knowledge with proof, color management, and graphic art. Furthermore they offer proofs for Heaven42 papers using the new EFI 8245 OBA proof papers. This proof paper enables to display the bright white paper coloration of Heaven42 for the very first time.

The submitted proofs were produced with EFI´s proof software Fiery XF 6.2 and the EFI proof substrates EFI 8175 and EFI 8275, which have a Fogra substrate certification. 

All certifications like Fogra, PEFC respectively FSC are dispayed on the paper as back print.  For users who do not want to change their proofing environment Tecco has the established proof papers available – e.g.: EFI Gravure Proof Paper 4245 or EFI 9120XF. Tecco offers all roll widths and sheet standard formats. 

EFI Proof Paper 8245 OBA Semimatt 

EFI Proof Paper 8245 OBA semi matt is a special development for proofing brightened and coated edition paper. Just like the EFI 4245 it has a grammage of 245 g/m• (EFI 6225 has a grammage of 225 g/m•).  The white point of this semi matt paper is very close to the data of the Fogra 51 profile and thereby enables proofing according to Fogra 51 without paper white simulation. It is substrate certified according to ISO 12647-7. Users who want to use the old standard for proofing, e.g. according to Fogra 39 without changing paper can use the new EFI 8245.

EFI Proof Paper 8175 OBA Matt

For proofing with uncoated brightened 8245 OBA semi matt is a special development for proofing brightened and coated edition paper users can now choose between the well-known proof paper EFI 9120 XF which is free of optical brighteners and the EFI 8175 OBA. With a weight of 175 g/m• this matte paper is well suited for proofs according to the new Fogra52.

The papers are available at dealers, paper profikes can be loaded within the software and also from the EFI server and from the web site for free.
