Minneapolis, MN - NEXT / GLS Precision Marketing, a strategic marketing technology company, has named Eric Loring President of NEXT. Joining the company in October of 2014, Eric was previously the VP of Marketing Technology. In his new role, Eric will continue to provide his expertise in new and emerging technologies with a commitment to deliver superior marketing solutions for clients and customers across the NEXT / GLS organization.

With over 20 years of experience in marketing technologies, Eric’s focus is on using technologies to connect digital and physical marketing in new and more effective ways. He is dedicated to improving customer experience by identifying and implementing innovative marketing technologies that meet customers’ specific needs.

“In the past few years, marketing has changed in a way that is pushing marketing technology to the forefront, causing us to shape and refine our efforts,” said Loring. “With a continuous flow of new digital technologies, it’s critical to have the tools and resources in place to ensure we can provide the right solution for our customers.”

Prior to joining NEXT / GLS Precision Marketing, Eric was the VP of e-Business at Jostens, Inc. At Jostens, he was a leading pioneer in building out the consumer digital strategy from interactive experiences within e-Commerce to supporting mobile applications, as well as creating the industry’s first internet-enabled yearbook publishing system. In his role, Eric also developed patents for integrated yearbooks, product customization, image management, and a system to educate, sell and distribute yearbooks.

Eric also has experience in face-to-face training and support for direct sales channels, competitive analysis, tactical strategy implementation and UI/UX interface design and development.

“I am excited to continue to grow with NEXT in this new role,” added Loring. “At NEXT, we value and honor the work we do with our partners, and always strive to deliver on our commitment with the right set of core values. It’s a great team, and I’m honored to be a part of it.”

Eric holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kansas Sate University. He lives in the Minneapolis area with his wife and two sons.
