Press release from the issuing company

Andrew Paparozzi presents session at Epicomm New York Chapter meeting, joins industry panel members in State of the Industry webinar

Alexandria, VA - Andrew Paparozzi, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist at Epicomm, the Association for Leaders in Print, Mail, Fulfillment, and Marketing Services, will provide an in-depth analysis of current industry conditions and a look at what 2016 might bring during a State of the Industry presentation at the Epicomm New York Chapter Meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 11, then join with a panel of industry executives for a State of the Industrywebinar on Thursday, Nov. 12.

The Epicomm State of the Industry Report and research are sponsored by Canon, which is also sponsoring the webinar and will host the New York Chapter meeting at its U.S. headquarters in Melville, N.Y. “We are grateful to Canon for enabling us to offer additional insights into our State of the Industry research through these two programs,” says Paparozzi, who authored the 2015 State of the Industry Report, 13th edition, which was released at GRAPH EXPO 15 in Chicago this fall.

“The opportunity to meet with members in person during our New York Chapter meeting and take members’ questions as part of the live Q&A session during our webinar will help us not only provide additional information about our State of the Industry research but offer ideas on how to apply the research findings to their businesses,” says Paparozzi. “And the members of our webinar panel will add their real-world business experiences to further explain how our research can be used for a positive bottom-line impact on company operations.”

Noting that “nothing is more important to sustained success in our industry than the ability to adapt to the changes that are refining everything from our products and services to our clients and competition,” Paparozzi explains that his presentation will review a six-step adaptability process and reveal “actions executives can take immediately to build adaptability into their company’s DNA.” He will also present his assessment of our industry’s 2015 performance and 2016 prospects.

The New York Chapter Meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. with a tour of the Canon plant in Melville, N.Y. Networking, dinner, and the program will follow. The meeting is open to both Epicomm members and non-members. Registration is $25 for the first registrant and $20 for each additional registrant. For reservations, contact Jim Prendergast at (212) 217-6824 or [email protected]. Or register online at ilink.me/NovNY15.

The State of the Industry webinar will take place on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET. “We often hear that there isn’t much opportunity in our industry, but many participants in our Epicomm State of the Industry research disagree,” says Paparozzi, who will join with panelists Wes Powell, President of TMR Direct, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Dale Park, President of Action Graphics, Lincoln Park, N.J., as they discuss opportunities for profitable growth—and how to capture those opportunities—and offer their views of what lies ahead in 2016.

The webinar is free for Epicomm members and $100 for non-members. For information, call (703) 836-9200 or go to www.epicomm.org/events/webinars. Or register online at ilink.me/SOI15Web.

Eligible Epicomm members receive a free printed copy of the annual State of the Industry Report as a benefit of membership. Non-members may purchase the report for $565.
