Kluge to Demonstrate OmniCoat UV Roller Coater at SGIA Expo

Press release from the issuing company

St. Croix Falls, WI - Brandtjen & Kluge will be co-exhibiting with Stratojet at the SGIA Expo in Atlanta November 4-6 at booth # 1927.  The Kluge team will be demonstrating the NEW Kluge OmniCoat 2000 UV Roller Coater and evaluating applications related to die cutting, foil stamping and folding and gluing.

In September Kluge announced that it had reached an agreement to acquire the Olec brand roller coater products from Fabcon. Based in Santa Ana, California, Fabcon's roller coater business produces both wide-format and digital print roller coaters. The Olec brand of roller coaters includes designs from acquisitions of both Dorn SPA and Frank Matheus & Associates. The acquisition further broadens Kluge's product offering to include cutting, coating, decorating and converting equipment solutions, which is in line with its on-going growth strategy.

"We are delighted to welcome the Olec roller coater business into the Kluge family. This acquisition supports our vision to become a leading global provider of print finishing solutions for the printing and package converting industry," said Michael Aumann, CEO of Kluge. "Additionally, Kluge is well positioned to offer our full product line of diecutting, laser cutting, foil stamping, embossing and folder/gluer equipment to the expanding digital print market."

The OmniCoat applies an ultra-violet (UV) protective coating extending the life of any printed product. Kluge UV Roller Coaters are available in multiple formats up to 84" and feature quick changeovers and precision metering adjustments with multiple curing and conditioning options.
