FESPA Offers Growth Planning Insights to Leading Printers at its Global Summit

Press release from the issuing company

FESPA’s apex thought leadership forum, The Global Summit, returns for 2015, taking place from 1 – 2 December 2015 at the Andaz Hotel in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

The FESPA Global Summit aims to inspire print providers and other participants in the print value chain to build stronger, more innovative businesses, providing delegates with valuable insight through exclusive presentations and case studies from industry experts.

This year’s summit will focus print business leaders’ minds on how to identify market opportunities, and how to exploit them for the benefit of their businesses. FESPA will share exclusive print market research in the form of the FESPA Print Census, highlighting key areas of growth. Against this backdrop, world-class business coaches will equip delegates with the skills to take advantage of these opportunities with workshops focussing on business modelling, change management and leadership skills.

Over the course of the two-day summit, delegates will also hear from printers who have achieved significant successes in the growth areas highlighted – gaining insights not only into the dynamics, and unique characteristics of these niche markets, but also key actions which these pioneers took in their successful entry into these markets.

Speakers confirmed so far include: Linda Keppinger, Global Materials Director of Nike; Behaviour Expert Jez Rose; Christian Busch, Associate Director at the London School of Economics Innovation and Co-Creation Lab and; CEO of Blase Holding GmbH & Co. KG and FESPA Board Member, Thomas Struckmeier.

The cost to attend the summit is €995, discounted to €695 for members of FESPA’s national associations. In this price delegates will have access to all content throughout the event and to video and slides post-summit; a full leadership and change management toolkit; practical business modelling workshops; inspiring case studies from print pioneers; attendance to the gala dinner held at the historic Amsterdam restaurant D’Vijff Vlieghen; one night’s accommodation at the 5* Andaz hotel and a copy of the full FESPA Print Census findings.

Sponsored by EFI, Mimaki and MS Print Solutions, The Global Summit is an example of FESPA’s Profit for Purpose philosophy in action, which reinvests profit from FESPA exhibitions back into the industry, for the benefit of printers and signmakers.

Past delegates’ comments include:

Andrew Wilson (MD, Press On, UK): “The presentations are awesome, the Global Summit is really good and I’ve met some very interesting printers.”

Keith Ferrel (General Manager, Cactus Imaging, Australia): “It’s a gathering of knowledge from all over the world - the Global Summit is incredibly important for the industry.”

Barry Forester (Managing Director, Standfast and Barracks, UK): “I’ve been really impressed with how open and receptive people have been to sharing their experiences. You come away with a much broader view of what the opportunities for digital print are over the next five to 10 years.”

FESPA’s Head of Events, and Summit Chairman, Duncan MacOwan comments: “This year’s summit is a very focused event, carefully crafted to help print business leaders hone their leadership and business management skills, while giving them the information and connections to support their next move in developing their businesses.”
