Press release from the issuing company

Partnership pairs Marabu’s cutting edge ink technology with EPS’ digital hardware expertise

CHARLESTON, SC – Marabu North America and Engineered Printing Solutions of Vermont have announced a strategic partnership to offer specialized digital UV printing systems to the North American market.

The two companies have formed a partnership that combines Marabu’s cutting edge ink technology with the digital hardware development expertise of Engineered Printing Solutions. Marabu will represent EPS’s fJET-24 and fJET XL high speed digital flatbed printers to their vast screen and pad printing customer base. Engineered Printing Solutions will distribute Marabu’s newly released Ultra Jet DLE-A digital inks with the fJET printers “There is no North American company that has invested the level of resources into this key market segment like Engineered Printing Solutions,” states Bob Keller, General Manager of Marabu North America.

“Marabu has continued to focus our energy and expertise on our core business – ink development. We are now combining the strengths of our two companies to bring a complete, end to end digital solution to the North American market.”

The Ultra Jet inks are the newest product in the Marabu line of digital inks, specifically tailored for high resolution print heads for both traditional UV printing (Ultra Jet DUV-A) and for the increasingly popular UV-LED printing (Ultra Jet DLE-A). The inks were designed for use on a wide range of rigid and flexible substrates and are ideally suited for post-production processing.

“We are very excited to partner with Marabu.  We have conducted exhaustive testing of every commercially available UV curable digital ink and found the Ultra Jet DLE-A superior in terms of adhesion, color gamut, abrasion and chemical resistance,” says Julian Joffe, Founder and CEO of Engineered Printing Solutions.

Engineered Printing Solutions continues to revolutionize the product decoration process by progressively expanding the advanced printing solutions which they offer. To this end Engineered Printing Solutions has rolled out the fastest flatbed printer on the market, the fJETXL. The fJETXL efficiently satisfies the needs of short runs and on-demand printing while delivering vivid colors and fine details. The bed size of the fJETXL is 1060mm x 610mm. The fJET-24 Flatbed UV-LED is a multi-color inkjet printer designed for high speed and versatility in production. Applications include a wide range of industrial, commercial and promotional products including cell phone covers, ID cards, customized gifts, awards and promotional items. The fJET-24 is engineered for high resolution printing up to 1200dpi and a maximum print area of 20” x 24”.
