Success for Roland DG’s Better Business Experience Day

Held on the 16th of September 2016, Roland DG and their partners Corel UK Limited, Vivid Laminating, Lightbar, Adventa and Tecna UK and wrapping guru James Deacon invited both existing and potential customers to the Roland DG Creative Centre in Clevedon for a day of learning, advice and experiences alongside veteran Roland DG Users such as Pete Colman of Classic Print. 

With the majority of partners offering informative expert sessions, as well as the chance for one-to-one talks, attendance was excellent with the creative centre bustling with activity within half an hour of opening the doors. Particularly popular were Roland DG’s own RolandCare clinics, offering expertise on machine maintenance, and the Roland DG Academy Intermediate Digital Print class, run by Joe Wigzell, Academy and Creative Centre Manager.

Rob Goleniowski, Sales Support Manager, Says; “We had a fantastic turnout for our Experience Day, and we couldn’t be happier with how it has gone. We’ve seen customers travel from all over the UK – even as far as Cumbria – to be with us on the day, and we’ve made sure it’s been worth their while with a full roster of involving, informative sessions as well as so many experts from the industry being on hand.”

With so much to do, the many of the attendees chose to stay in the creative centre for more than half a day, taking the opportunity to be inspired by their surroundings as well as learn a bit more about the company, and be introduced to a few others. Roland DG and their partners also held a prize draw for all attendees, including products from Adventa, Corel and a place on a Roland DG Academy Course. The winner of the draw, Trevor of Stick-Fast, was announced the day following the event on social media.

Rob continues; “After seeing how worthwhile the event has been to our end users, we’ll definitely be connecting with them more in the future. At Roland DG, customer care doesn’t end after the purchase of the machine – we’re there every step of the way.”

After a successful trial day, Roland DG plan to expand upon the Better Business Experience Day in the coming year, offering even more knowledge and expertise through both Roland DG staff and industry partners.
