Manroland Sheetfed welcomes new apprentices

Press release from the issuing company

25 ‘newbies’ get valuable lessons at three-day introductory workshop in Manroland Sheetfed training center

Manroland Sheetfed’s annual introductory workshop, which aims to facilitate young people's entry into the company and prepare them in meeting the challenges of the working world, was conducted for the 17th time at the youth hostel in Oberbernhards, Germany.

As in previous years, the "newbies" – divided into 10 different occupational groups – successfully merged into a functioning team. Apart from the usual workshop activities, such as team building, self-awareness and company knowledge, the two-day program also included fun and outdoor sporting events.

Mr. Matthias Derzbach, head of the training center is confident these 25 youngsters – similar to their predecessors – will develop steadily over the years and become Manroland Sheetfed’s driving forces of the future.

Led by their five instructors, the apprentices also got to know the company’s headquarters in Offenbach, where over 800 people are employed.

Manroland Sheetfed annually offers apprenticeships in print press operation, electronics, foundry mechanics, industrial business management, industrial mechanics, mechatronics, pattern making, technical product design, cutting machine operating and media design specializing in digital and print outs.
