Bookmasters, Flame Tree Publishing sign expanded distribution agreement

Press release from the issuing company

Bookmasters has signed an expanded agreement with Flame Tree Publishing to provide sales, distribution, and fulfillment services to the independent trade in the U.S. and Canada, complementing their prior agreement which will continue as before.

Flame Tree’s collection of highly illustrated titles covers a range of subjects in art, music, and lifestyle.

Based in the United Kingdom, Flame Tree had previously executed agreements with Bookmasters to provide limited sales, distribution, and fulfillment services.

“We look forward to a strong partnership over the next few years, learning from our U.S. customers and providing high quality gift and practical books,” said Nick Wells, publisher of Flame Tree Publishing. “Using the ‘Art of Fine Gifts’ and ‘Expert Advice Made Easy’ banners, we promote our books heavily and successfully in social media. Now we can turn our attention to the U.S. and Canada and fulfill the orders we’ve previously been unable to supply.”

“Our experience has shown that there is a keen interest and demand for Flame Tree products in the U.S.,” said Jon Ackerman, senior vice president of sales at Bookmasters. “This expanded agreement is a great opportunity for all parties and will make Flame Tree’s publications more widely available in more sales channels throughout the U.S.”
