Upgraded information management solution features new business analytics tool and customizable access options to streamline workflows 

MELVILLE, N.Y. - Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, today announced the availability of Therefore™ 2015, the newest version of its information management solution to help organizations streamline business processes and improve how information is managed. Therefore™ 2015 includes the addition of the new Therefore™ Business Analytics feature and Therefore™ Portal,1 providing advanced insight for information processing improvements, effectiveness of business workflows and more customizable options to simplify the way they do business.

Designed to address evolving business needs, the latest version of the Therefore™ solution includes the new Therefore™ Business Analytics tool, allowing administrators to receive automatically generated real time reports to assess the efficiency of their company's workflow. With this new analytics tool, users will be able to view the number of weekly invoices, the average processing time for a project or the number of times each user edits each document. This insight can provide companies with valuable knowledge to identify costly workflow bottlenecks and areas in need of improvement. 

Therefore™ 2015 also includes a newly added feature allowing businesses to confidently share information with users outside their organization. The new Therefore™ Portal allows businesses to delegate unlimited, Read-Only portal access to third parties. This limited access helps to add a new and efficient level to customer or vendor management where account information can be securely shared with outside parties, saving time on routine processes such as invoicing. 

Available for Android™, iOS and select Windows® mobile platforms2, the Therefore™ Mobile App has been updated to support data generated by the Business Analytics feature. Additionally, with the support of third-party applications, such as Microsoft® Office Mobile and Microsoft® QuickOffice, documents can now be edited on-the-go.

The updated and enhanced Therefore full-text search engine provides a variety of search options to conveniently find documents. Searches can be performed based on relevance, hit count or date modified. Additionally, users can filter search results to identify OCR errors that may need to be handled as exceptions. For Therefore™ 2015, the full-text search engine feature includes a new multi-lingual thesaurus, allowing search results to automatically include words from multiple languages, providing a time-saver for international or multi-lingual companies. 

Therefore™ 2015 offers an improved Case Management feature to automatically create project cases from an existing database, helping to save time. This upgraded feature provides various possibilities to streamline workflow, including the ability to move documents to new cases, automate tasks and start a sub-workflow within a pre-existing project.

Using Canon's MEAP solution platform, Therefore can be integrated with Canon's imageRUNNER ADVANCE series, imageRUNNER devices and imageFORMULA DR scanners. Therefore™ 2015 is now available across the United States through Canon authorized dealers. Prices are set by individual dealers and may vary depending upon version purchased, number of licensed users, and implementation services provided.
