Drupa Signing For Polestar Third Gravure Press with Cerutti

Press release from the issuing company

May 14, 2004 -- Polestar has placed a further order with Cerutti, confirming the investment in a third 3.88 metre-wide gravure press for its new Greenfield plant. This machine will be installed in May 2005 and will join two other presses ordered earlier this year, giving the Group the production capacity for over 1.5 billion A4 pages per week. Signing the contract at DRUPA with Dr. Cerutti, Polestar Chief Executive Barry Hibbert says: "We have always been convinced of the requirement for this additional capacity as we grow our share of the European magazine and newspaper supplement market. We are confident that the marketplace will benefit from this latest technology with the high levels of productivity and quality we will be able to offer." At 700,000 square feet, Polestar's new gravure plant will be one of the largest in Europe and gives the Group room for further expansion in all areas when required
