Middleton Paper and Vision Paper & Board announce new recruits

Middleton Paper, along with its Vision Paper and Board division, have recruited a number of new staff members to help meet customer requirements as demand for stock and bespoke conversion grows. Three of the new recruits are ex-PaperlinX employees.

The new recruits are:

Steve Bedworth – Commercial Manager

Steve’s new role at Middleton Paper is Commercial Manager. He will draw upon his wealth of previous experience in both sales and conversion management positions to help raise standards and deliver results, acting as the conduit between sales and production.

Steve worked for Robert Horne Paper from 1995 and, in various roles, at M6 Papers and Conversion Co from 2007-2015, latterly as General Manager.

Daniel Brown - Key Account Manager

Daniel brings an added dimension to the Vision Paper direct sales team. His experience in the Graphical and Cartonboard sector will enhance the sales of graphical and packaging products as well as growing the large format service offering.  In addition he will help to develop the customer base in the North of England.

Daniel worked for Wiggins Teape prior to joining Robert Horne Sign and Display in 2009. He moved to the PaperlinX Graphic and Carton Board division in 2010.  In 2013 he joined Warren Board. In 2014 he re-joined PaperlinX as Regional Sales Manager for Graphic and Carton Board.

Barry Fowler – Regional key accounts director

Barry is a paper trade professional, previously managing director of W Lunnon & Company. Barry implemented the sale of Lunnons to the Robert Horne Group in 1992. He joined the Robert Horne main board and has since held various senior positions during his 15 years with PaperlinX.  

As key account director in the South East, Barry will help promote Vision Paper & Board to the market and he will help the company to develop and implement its strategy in this rapidly changing industry.

Andy Wall – Transport and Warehouse Coordinator

Andy will be assisting in the transport area and will also be taking responsibility for the co-ordination of the warehousing and transport departments. Andy has many years’ experience in warehouse management in major organisations such as Amazon and Dreams.

In addition to the announcements above the company has also taken on a new scheduler and various new recruits within its conversion and distribution site. These new appointments ensure that Middleton Paper and Vision Paper & Board’s first class service will be maintained following the extra volumes that the company is now handling.

Middleton Paper and Vision Paper and Board are still looking to recruit additional inside and outside sales people to help meet the continued volume growth in all areas of the business.
