Press release from the issuing company

VALHALLA, N.Y. (May 2004) – Because of his never-ending dedication to the industry, two industry organizations have honored Enovation’s Larry Warter with awards. The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) of the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (GATF) and the Research & Engineering (R&E) Council of NAPL recently bestowed their organizations’ awards on Warter. “He’s so dedicated to education and training in the graphic communications industry and he’s done a great deal to promote the scholarship fund,” explains Ted Ringman, a member of PGSF’s board of directors. The PGSF honored Warter with the Harold W. Gegenheimer Award, which honors outstanding service by a board member. Gegenheimer is a past PGSF chairman, chairman of the current fundraising campaign and a “major proponent of education and sharing knowledge in the graphic arts industry,” according to Ringman. Gegenheimer was the recipient of the first award, given last year, and Enovation’s Warter is the second. “Larry’s just such a good example in this industry and is so very deserving,” continues Ringman. In addition to being honored by the PGSF arm of the GATF, Warter also received the John L. Kronenberg Industry Leadership Award from NAPL’s R&E Council. Presented annually, the Kronenberg award rewards long and dedicated service to both the R&E Council and the graphic arts industry. Warter has distinguished himself as an officer or board member of more than 20 graphics arts industry associations and has been recognized for his dedication to the industry and for his advocacy of standards within the graphic arts. Larry Warter, currently the director of new business development for Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc., has been instrumental in establishing standards for the graphic arts industry and has been recognized for his innovative and futuristic thinking by many of the industry’s numerous organizations and associations. His career spans more than 30 years and includes various sales, marketing, technical and research positions. He is also widely recognized as a leading expert in the graphic arts community and speaks at a variety of industry events. During Warter’s career in the graphic arts industry, he has been an active member and/or chairman of many associations, including GATF, WOA, GCA, R&E Council, NAPL, IPA, SWOP, GRACoL, SNAP, TAGA GAMIS, CIP4, CGATS, ISO, PGSF, EPS, and ICC.
