TRESU Americas Exhibits at Expografica 2015

Press release from the issuing company

TRESU Americas at Expografica 2015: performance-boosting ancillary solutions and integrated units for Mexico’s flexo industry

Kolding (Denmark), and Dallas (Texas, USA) - TRESU Americas will showcase enhanced process control solutions for packaging, commercial and industrial printing applications at Expografica 2015, booth 724, 12-15 May 2015, in Mexico City. At the fair, the company will highlight a diverse ancillary program for flexo and offset converters, coating units for digital folding carton lines, complete flexo lines and bespoke integrated printing solutions. TRESU will also reinforce its commitment to customer support by introducing representatives from its newly appointed Mexican agency, Advanced Converting Solutions (based Toluca) at the stand.

The company’s offering of chamber doctor blade systems, ink supply systems and software offers automated, controlled ink circulation, allowing repeatable, consistently high print quality at faster speeds and minimized setup times. Other product highlights include hot air drying equipment, inline UV-curable and aqueous coating systems for sheet-fed digital folding carton converting. The company also custom-builds complete flexo lines and specialty printing / coating units for integration into converting and industrial assembly lines.

Chamber Doctor Blade Systems

TRESU’s ancillary solutions, comprising chamber doctor blades, supply systems and chilling equipment, offer full, automated, enclosed ink circulation, and precise control of flow, pressure and viscosity.

The company’s chamber doctor blade systems feature the company’s patented seals, preventing leakage. This ensures a foam-free transfer of ink or coating medium to the anilox cells, and prevention of solvents escaping into the atmosphere. Blade systems, positioned to prevent contamination of air at the point of contact with the anilox roll, are exchanged in two minutes via a clamping system.  TRESU stand is the new programme of lightweight carbon fibre chamber doctor blade systems, which offer improved chemical resistance, optimised flow and safe, easy handling in virtually all flexo printing situations. As well as being integral to the Concept, TRESU’s ancillary equipment is a feature of the flexo presses of many original equipment manufacturers.

TRESU will also exhibit a program of compact dampening water circulators, built in a variety of sizes to suit individual printing units and a wide range of presses and hot air drying systems.

Modular ‘Concept’ inline flexo press for seamless, multi-process package converting

TRESU’s web-fed modular flexo ‘Concept’ printing and converting line brings high speeds, short setup times, lower handling and single-pass capability to corrugated and folding carton manufacturing.  Customised to end-user performance requirements and built with TRESU’s 30 years of press building and engineering expertise, the Concept offers a flexo platform in 900mm, 1100mm and 1400mm widths. In addition, it provides the possibility for seamless integration of processes, such as variable data, gravure, screen, hot and cold foil and finishing, providing an end-to-end solution for high-value packaging. Running at speeds of up to 600m/min, the Concept offers effortless converting of substrates up to 600 micron thickness, including paper, board, aluminium foil and flexible packaging.

TRESU’s Solutions division specialises in integrating bespoke-designed flexo units into existing converting and assembly lines, where inline printing or coating is required for regulatory, functional or promotional requirements. End-user markets include detergent pouches, packaging, aerosols, industrial coating, lottery cards, nonwovens, wallcovering and graphics.

In addition TRESU’s DIgitalSolutions division offers flexo coating systems for integration into digital sheet-fed folding carton lines, under its Digital Solutions division, and custom-built flexo machines produced by the companies Solution division.  The TRESU iCoat coating system has been adapted specially for HP Indigo 10000 and HP Indigo 30000 presses. Together, the TRESU and HP systems offer a simplified printing folding carton workflow, reducing start up waste, logistics, manual input and lead times.  Complementing the coating systems is TRESU’s iVarnish new range, comprising proprietary water-based and UV-curable overprinted varnishes (OPVs) that offer enhanced protection, aesthetic appeal and converting efficiency, for digitally printed folding carton applications.
