GFI Innovations and The Oldham Group Announce Expanded Dealer Agreement

Press release from the issuing company

Gurnee, IL – GFI Innovations and The Oldham Group announced today they have expanded their dealer agreement and strengthened its strategic relationship. The two companies began working together last summer leading up to Graph Expo. This new agreement reflects GFI’s intention to grow its dealer network with a thriving and supported distributor program for offset and flexographic inks.

The Oldham Group has cultivated an outstanding reputation for technical support and service throughout America’s Heartland. Founded in 1951, the Springfield, Illinois-based company operates in 20-plus states from New York to Texas.  A Kodak Gold reseller, Agfa solutions provider and INX International Ink Co. master distributor, The Oldham Group’s Print Solutions Group excels at color management services - including G7 certifications - and its Electronics team specializes in CTP and workflow solutions.

The company will handle GFI’s paste and flexo ink formulation dispensing solutions lines. This includes the AccuBlend-HV for offset litho inks and newly launched AccuBlend-LV flexo Ink dispensing solution. The AccuBlend hardware and software systems offer a host of benefits to improve control over the process, schedules and workflow of ink dispensing for commercial and packaging printers of all types.

“We sell everything but paper, making us focus only on our customers’ printing challenges. Oldham has over 60 years of building relationships and partnerships in the industry, so we are uniquely qualified to represent GFI Innovations,” remarked Matt Gunderson, Director of Pressroom Solutions and Flexographic Sales for The Oldham Group.

“We have full pressroom capabilities and sell both branded and major line blanket converting products. We also maintain full ink labs in Itasca, Illinois, and Fort Worth, Texas, and our highly trained technicians are prepared to recommend the right solutions to help with any situation.”

John Borkovec, VP of Sales and Marketing for GFI, likes what the expanded agreement brings to the table. “This is really a win-win situation for The Oldham Group and its customers. There is pressure on printers from every direction to improve color accuracy and control. Having just-in-time spot color brings enormous efficiencies to today’s automated pressroom.”
