BMC is appointed to £400m-plus collaborative Postal Goods and Services Framework Agreement

Press release from the issuing company

Banner Managed Communication (BMC) has successfully won a place on the Postal Goods and Service Framework for Hybrid Mail a collaborative public sector agreement established by Crown Commercial Service, YPO and ESPO.

BMC has been appointed to two Lots, which together cover both on-site and off-site hybrid mail solutions. The estimated value of the framework as published in the OJEU notice is in excess of £400m so, although no provider is guaranteed to receive work, the appointment offers significant commercial potential for all suppliers appointed to the framework.

“Places on public sector frameworks are much sought after and the qualification and selection process extremely rigorous”, said Catherine Burke, Managing Director of Banner Managed Communication.

“BMC’s appointment to these two Lots is testament both to the quality of our hybrid mail solutions and to the diligence of our bid team. We welcome the ‘direct access’ nature of the framework which means that we have the opportunity to engage on a one- to-one basis with key public sector decision-makers, to demonstrate the benefits of BMC’s solutions.”

What is Hybrid Mail?

It is correspondence generated in the office either on the desktop or by back office automation which is captured, securely transmitted and routed to either the customers internal print resource or to our high volume print and mail operation for production and despatch through postal or electronic communication channels, it can also be ingested into customer CRM or enterprise archive solutions.

Bulk production, cheaper paper / envelope prices, postage savings and staffing efficiencies mean total costs can be reduced by up to 50%!

Public sector organisations in local government and the NHS already enjoy the benefits that hybrid mail delivers so it’s no surprise then that more and more organisations are turning to hybrid mail to save them time, effort and money.
