British printing company Diguru committed to growth with digital printing systems from Heidelberg

Press release from the issuing company

Diguru is a commercial printing company based in Hampshire in the United Kingdom and the first British user of the new Linoprint CV digital printing system from Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg). It specializes in business with advertising agencies and end users and is committed to producing high-quality print products as sustainably as possible. The company has only been on the market since 2010 and currently has a workforce of nine. Since it was founded, Diguru has succeeded in increasing its sales from £400,000 to some £1 million, in particular thanks to the growth in digital printing operations.

To satisfy increasing demand and respond to the trend towards higher-quality digital print products, Diguru decided on the Linoprint CV from Heidelberg, which has only recently been launched. “Ultimately, there were three reasons for choosing the Linoprint CV – its high productivity, the flexibility offered by a fifth color either to print white or apply a coating, and the excellent price-performance ratio,” says Diguru’s managing director Richard Harwood in explaining his investment decision. Diguru intends to use the new system’s surface finishing options above all to boost its business with advertising agencies. The company is gearing all its efforts towards further growth and is planning other additions to the portfolio, such as 3D printing.
