New Jersey-based Omega installed an HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press to expand its digital printing capabilities and offer clients more high-value application options beyond the scope of traditional offset print. With the HP Indigo 10000, Omega is able to cost effectively produce 29-inch variable data-driven pieces in strategic run lengths. The press joins Omega’s existing HP Indigo 5600 Digital Press.
Formed from a merger between Print Art and Omega Specialty Products in October 2014, Omega has a rich commercial printing history and works with well-known brands, including Estée Lauder, Spencer Gifts, Spirit Halloween stores and Wawa. The HP Indigo 10000 will help Omega deliver offset-matching prints, while opening up new application possibilities, including personalized pocket folders, six-page brochures, posters and large lay-flat books.
“The print industry is rapidly changing, and we are staying ahead of the curve by investing in the HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press,” said Carl Blase, president and CEO, Omega. “The HP Indigo 10000 allows us to better serve our customers and provide greater value, leveraging its high productivity for faster turnarounds and new data-driven application options.”
Omega joins the growing community of industry leaders who have invested in the HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press, which has reached more than 170 worldwide installations. The HP Indigo 10000 enables Omega to produce virtually any commercial job for its retail, casino, hospitality and restaurant, health care, education and nonprofit customers with proven quality, substrate versatility and production flexibility.
